Just Bought a JDM Cellphone, called Fujitsu F-02E for 295 bucks. And yes it's unlocked.
Spec wise, it's waterproof (altough i always thinking a waterproof cellphone is basically a spalsh-proof), pretty old Nvidia Tegra 3 Chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
And oh, there's AuthenTec’s AES1750 smart biometric fingerprint security sensor and 16.3 Sony Exmor-R Camera plus 5" of Full HD Screen. And Android 4.1
Honestly, i think it's really a steal at that price. What do you think, oppo?

Apparently going "JDM" for phones is the best decision you could make, since they get all the amazing technology first. I've never heard of this, but it seems nice so far!

I don't read Japanese so unless it come in English, German, or Arabic... its useless to me. sounds good though.... how water proof?

I never heard fujitsu before either, apart from laptops.
And ya, the only gripe so far is the old Nvidia Chipset. But I can't ask for more at this price point.

Is it better for emulating psone?

When they release their new phone next month you better have one on pre-order. Otherwise you can hand me the keys to your Mercedes, little boy.

It is come with english.
You know, usual stuff, 30 minutes for 1 meter.

In a certain way: What doesn't?

Haven't loaded any emulators yet, but..
I think it will be no difference.
I can maximize all the graphic settings for emulating psone on my 2 years old Arc.

Im waiting for the phone you can use like a go pro. 1 meter isnt all that deep. i guess i'll keep waiting.

Nah, I won't :p
Because oppo is basically made by someone that knows car better than smartphone, and they're using lucas electronics, they tend to break down.
Friend of mine has the Oppo Find 5. And then after 3 months the screen is dead. Because Lucas.

Also when you use opengl?
![]() 09/06/2013 at 11:22 |

Ya.
Maybe the manufacture thinks that if you accidentally drops your phone to toilet or something, you still can use the phone.

Definetly far more better.
But if your phone is just for emulating psone, any processor faster than 1ghz will do.

BUT IT'S NOT ABOUT RELIABILITY, IT'S ABOUT THE SOUL AND THE PASSION.
Yeah, I get it. I wouldn't buy one either. They have neat specs and are promising a great camera. But having owned several smartphones I stopped going for specs and started going for support and reliability.

Well, honestly oppo is like most jalop car ever, the Alfa Romeo.
It is awesome when it was working. The camera is really good (almost as good as the xperia Z), the screen is awesome, the audio is nearly perfect (Dolby Surround Sound with Yamaha amplifier).
But, when things start to go wrong..
Well.

What network type do JDM cellphones use? I had read that the data connection doesn't work well with the GSM network here in the 'States but I've never actually used one. I've been tempted, simply because I miss the old "clamshell" style phones and apparently they have some really slick clamshell phones in Japan.

My phone aparently is the International Phone, so i can use it everywhere. And oh, she got LTE As well.
If you want to import one, make sure it's made after 2011. Otherwise it won't work.
